In 1886,William Grant opens his first distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. The " 's" for Grant's, means "and son".
This brand was the first one to be exported and of all their products, the most famous remains Glennfiddish. This name is translated by "the valley of deers" in Gaelic.
The series was made in 1990 as indicated under the bases of figures. Why 9? Simply to install the characters moved in front of the castle, 5 behind and 4 in the front. Each figurine represents one glorious Scottish regiment. They were attached to the neck of the bottle as you can notice on the following page...
