This series of 24 figures produced in 1960 is divided into two parts of 6 couples. They are recognizable by the marking. The first series is engraved "Mokarex Déposé" under the base and "Mokarex" on the back of the same base.
The second series is engraved only by "Mokarex" on the back.
Parts the most difficult to find are obviously grapped. Especially the small piece of headgear of "Bourbonnaise" as well as the arm of the "Nicoise" which always holds little the figure. The designers of these characters were inspired by engravings, as those of E. Maudy.
