In the 60s, the advertising figure is going full swing. STORME, a big mark of coffee the ruling family of which, of the same name, became established to Mouscron (Belgium) since 1896, announces the release of 500 figurines.

Knowing that the last series Mokarex " Ivanhoé " of 1962 looks like to be mistaken to those of the figurines STORME there, spread, them, from 1963, it would be attractive to believe that the concept was maybe given up to the Company Storme. The workshop of engraving is moreover the same. So...

A figure in the packages of coffee of 500grs or 1 token for the packages of 250grs (were needed 2 to obtain a figure), at first sight, the gossips will say " this Company takes back the concept of Mokarex, ten years earlier, nothing new! "

But Mr. Francis Storme goes farther, much more FAR! The characters will be of a big realism, with a lot of expression, such those of a waxworks. It's not everything! Many figures will be planned for the creation of Diorama. To do it, certain parts will be exchangeable, heads, arms, weapons, shields, etc.

Storme Will take out a notebook every month. 4 magazines "Storme Magazine" and 14 magazines "Storme Club". Everything is explained. We find examples of assembly, advice for painting but also the construction of a Longship, a castle, etc. (see the section Diorama). This concept that is used in fact so much nowadays. A notebook, an object, a story, advice. Storme is early years in the time of 40!

During the Trade fair of Brussels in 1965, Mister Francis Storme offered to Her Majesty the Queen Fabiola the series illustrating the Royal family.

Even if 384 characters on 500 were never born, this collection remains not less a wonderful story of Belgium in three dimensions. I wish you all to possess it one day.

Thank you Mister Storme...
